Capital Tides Investor Cruise Sets Sail on the Spectacular Waters Surrounding Vancouver

Investor.Events Inc., in collaboration with Stockhouse Publishing Ltd., is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Capital Tides Investor Cruise, taking place Friday, September 29 on the MV Britannia by Harbour Cruises. Departing from the scenic Coal Harbour at 10 AM, this one-day event promises to offer Greater Vancouver Investors and Finance Professionals a unique opportunity to explore investment prospects in the serene backdrop of Indian Arm, English Bay, and False Creek.

This exclusive event will bring together 24 Issuers from the TSX, TSXV, and CSE, representing a diverse range of sectors including resource exploration, technology, investment funds, and special situations. Each Issuer will have dedicated meeting areas, facilitating back-to-back discussions throughout the day on the three-level charter vessel.

Saturday, Sept 30: Networking Events - Sturgeon Fishing Derby & Whale Watching Tour (see below)

There’s only one way to meet investment opportunties and that is face to face – each meeting will be 15 minutes which will provide a high-level introduction to the company; a list of Issuers will be available on September 28 with the final itinerary. This will be an energetic environment, a gorgeous backdrop and worth every minute of your valuable time! 

How the event works

We will be on the private chartered MV Britannia from 10-5pm, which docks at Coal Harbour.  You will be scheduled for 16 meetings – each meeting you will be paired with 2 other Investor Types (Accredited Investors and Finance Professionals), and upon arrival you will receive be assigned a meeting group #, and receive an issuer booklet! Jump aboad, grab some breakfast and enjoy the views before departing at 10am.  Your first meeting will be at 10am, followed by three more meetings – we’ll have a coffee break, then jump back into meetings – lunch will be served around 12:30pm and the rest of the afternoon is filled with meetings and a cocktail reception! We team you up with Investors for many reasons 1)  Issuers being able to meet a greater number of investors 2) Investors stepping away taking inbound client/or broker calls (maybe place an order from a previous meeting), 3) Investors preferring to take meetings with Friends and Colleagues… it’ll be a great day!

Networking Events on Saturday, Sept 30: Sturgeon Fishing Derby & Whale Watching Tour

Sturgeon Fishing Derby: 24 Lucky Conference Participants will hit the Fraser River fishing for Sturgeon on guided fishing charters by BC Sportfishing Group/STS Guiding. There will be 6 boats competing amongst each other. We will announce the 24 derby winners during Friday’s Reception. This is an 8-Hour Fishing Derby. 

Whale Watching Tour: 24 Lucky Conference Participants will be departing from the charming historic fishing village of Steveston and travel through the spectacular Gulf and San Juan Islands and will discover magnificent and breathtaking marine wildlife in their natural habitat. There will be two Zodiac Boats departing at 12pm with 12 guests on board.
