Departing from the scenic Coal Harbour at 10 AM, this one-day event promises to offer Greater Vancouver Investors and Finance Professionals a unique opportunity to explore investment prospects in the serene backdrop of Indian Arm, English Bay, and False Creek.

This exclusive event will bring together Issuers from the TSX, TSXV, and CSE, representing a diverse range of sectors including resource exploration, technology, and special situations. Each Issuer will have dedicated meeting areas, facilitating back-to-back discussions throughout the day on the MV Britannia, a three-level charter vessel. Departing from the scenic Coal Harbour at 10 AM, this one-day investor event promises to offer Greater Vancouver Investors and Finance Professionals a unique opportunity to explore investment prospects in the serene backdrop of Indian Arm, English Bay, and False Creek.

Saturday, September 7: Networking Events - Salmon Fishing Derby & Whale Watching Tour

How the event works

We are set to embark on the privately chartered MV Britannia at 10AM from Coal Harbour, and our destination will be Indian Arm, English Bay, and False Creek. During this time, you will be scheduled to meet 16 Issuers. Each meeting will involve pairing you with two other Investor Types, specifically Accredited Investors and Finance Professionals. Upon your arrival, you will be assigned a meeting group number and provided with an issuer booklet. You can start your day by boarding the vessel after 9AM, enjoying a hearty breakfast, and taking in the picturesque views before our departure at 10AM.

The first meeting is scheduled for 10:30AM, followed by three more consecutive meetings. We will have a short coffee break before resuming our meeting sessions. Lunch will be served around 12:30PM, and the remainder of the afternoon will be dedicated to more meetings, concluding with a cocktail reception.

We organize these meetings with the goal of facilitating connections between issuers and a broader range of investors. This arrangement allows investors to briefly step away to attend to incoming client or broker calls or place orders resulting from previous meetings. Additionally, it accommodates those who prefer to meet with friends and colleagues. Our Investor Cruise promises to be an exciting and productive day!

Networking Events on Saturday, September 7: Salmon Fishing Derby & Whale Watching Tour

Salmon Fishing Derby – an unforgettable experience sponsored by presenting issuers, where conference delegates will embark on a thrilling Salmon fishing adventure amidst the breathtaking waters of Vancouver. It's a day of camaraderie, competition, and celebration of the great outdoors. Four Bon Chovy Guided Boats will depart from Granville Island and compete amongst each other in two sessions, AM and PM! Seating is limited, if you’d like to register for this Networking Event, please select this option during the registration process.  Investors will be selected based on their Investor Profile and will be notified on or before event day.

Whale Watching Tour – sponsored by presenting Issuers, the whale watching tour will be departing from the charming historic fishing village of Steveston and travel through the spectacular Gulf and San Juan Islands and will discover magnificent and breathtaking marine wildlife in their natural habitat. There will be two Zodiac Boats departing at 9am and 1pm with 12 guests on board. We will select Investors to join each sponsored boat.
